Lexus just revealed a real and rideable hoverboard that every kid has ever dreamt of in the latest instalment of their “Amazing in Motion” video series. The Lexus marketing (and R&D) team is being very clever and only released snippets and we don’t actually see it in action.
Their official site says: “the Lexus Hoverboard uses magnetic levitation to achieve amazing frictionless movement. Liquid nitrogen cooled superconductors and permanent magnets combine to allow Lexus to create the impossible.”
There’s a big chance of this going into mass production as well. Here’s the video teaser:
Take a closer look at the beautiful design of the board, it’s made of mix of natural bamboo and other materials used to make Lexus cars.
